BRANDY CLARK: A SONGWRITER’S SONGWRITER WITH A STORY TO TELL

Brandy Clark is having a standout 2026. Not only did she release a new album on July 31, she was also named among The New York Times’Thirty Greatest Living American Songwriters in April, alongside longtime songwriting collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

And now, Clark is bringing that celebrated songwriting—and her sharp, witty storytelling—to the stage.

Her 2026 live performances have earned strong praise for her engaging stage presence, formidable catalog, powerful delivery, and tight-knit band. Recent tour stops, including a sold-out performance at the MIM in Phoenix, have showcased Clark’s ability to blend humor, heartfelt storytelling, and songs that connect deeply with audiences.

Her approximately 90-minute sets weave together fan favorites such as “Pray to Jesus,” “Crazy Women,” “Big Day in a Small Town,” and “Love Can Go to Hell,” creating an evening that is as entertaining as it is musically compelling.

While Clark is firmly rooted in country music, her artistry reaches well beyond the boundaries of modern country radio. Her sophisticated songwriting and storytelling have more in common with artists such as Martina McBride and Emmylou Harris, while her contemporary sensibility can be compared to Kacey Musgraves, with whom she has also co-written.

Clark’s live band features Amanda McCoy on bass, Gabe Burdulis on guitar, and Erin “Pepper” Nelson on drums, creating the tight, dynamic sound that helps bring her songs to life.

Brandy Clark is the shot of adrenaline country music has needed for years—and it’s exciting to see one of America’s great songwriters receiving the recognition she deserves.
