Once You Have Arrived

AUDIENCE AGREEMENTS

Our intention is that everyone—first-timers and returning guests alike—has a safe, positive and memorable experience at The Bing. Therefore, we ask our guests to agree to norms rooted in kindness, respect, and generosity:

  • Everyone belongs at The Bing. The Bing does not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of prejudice towards fellow guests, staff, or artists whether on social media, over the phone, or in person at one of our shows.

  • Fully immerse yourself in the experience. Power off technology like communication devices once the show begins and be mindful of glowing screens on phones and watches. Be aware that excessive audience chatter and background noise impacts others’ experience of the show. Your full attention means the world to the performers.

  • Respect your neighbors. Please respect and embrace the reactions of your neighbors, which might be different from your own.

If you have any questions or seating concerns, please find a staff member to ask for support.

DOORS

Entrances to the theater will open approximately one hour prior to curtain. Please allow ample time to arrive and have your tickets checked. Performances begin promptly. If you choose to exit the theater building at any point during the show, please be prepared to show your ticket to Bing staff for re-entry to the performance.

THEATER SECURITY

Concern for our guests' safety has always been one of our top priorities. We have implemented increased security at The Bing in both visible and non-visible ways. With these added security measures in mind, please consider arriving early and refrain from bringing large bags, backpacks, or oversized purses with you to your upcoming performance. Large bags, backpacks, and oversized purses are subject to a security check. Do not bring any weapons including guns, knives, pocket knives, batons, box cutters, etc. Thank you in advance for your patience!

RESTROOMS

There are three locations for bathroom facilities at the Bing. On the main floor, near the emergency exit, there are two bathrooms, one for men and the other for women. Both main-floor restrooms are ADA compliant. On the balcony level, there is a women's bathroom. (If you are coming up the ramp from the main floor, the restroom is to your right.) The third bathroom is unisex and is in the back of Ovations, located on the third floor.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are dedicated to ensuring our theater is accessible to all guests. ADA seating is located on the far right of main floor seating. For accessible ticketing, please contact the theater manager at (509) 227-7638. To explore seating options, click here.

Food & Drink | Ovations

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Concessions, including popcorn, snacks, beer, and wine, are available in the main floor lobby. Beer, wine, and cocktails are served at Ovations on the third floor. You may bring concessions, beer, and wine to your seat, but cocktails are only allowed in Ovations and cannot be taken out of the lounge.

Merch

Merchandise from the show may occasionally be available for purchase, giving you the chance to take home a souvenir! However, please note that Friends of the Bing members do not receive a discount on merchandise. Additionally, the Bing does not own or sell merchandise for any programs held at the venue.
