Sgt Steve's "It's Officially Christmas!!"

SGT Steve Entertainment announces its first Spokane Big Band show on November 25, 2022 at the Bing Crosby Theater. SGT Steve's "It's Officially Christmas!!" aims to be the first musical kick-off to the Christmas season each year in Spokane. "I've always loved bringing people together." says Sergeant First Class Steve Friel, who is also Professor of Saxophone at Eastern Washington University. "I thought this would be a perfect way to feature my composer and musician friends as well as give to causes that support veterans which is an area near to my heart." The evening festivities will feature Friel's very own big band made of local musicians. It will also showcase fellow EWU professor and vocalist Kristina Ploeger, as well some original takes on well known holiday songs by local and national composers.

In addition to the "official kick-off of the Christmas season in Spokane", Friel's annual event will raise funds for various veterans organizations. Sales from merchandise that evening and online before and after the event will also help contribute to the effort.

Join us for an all ages evening of great Big Band music to help kick-off the holiday season here in Spokane! SGT Steve's "It's Officially Christmas!!" on November 25, 2022 at the Bing Crosby Theater (901 W Sprague Ave). Showtime is 8:00pm; doors open at 7:00pm; all ages welcome.
