Shaun Cassidy: The Road to Us

Let’s talk Shaun Cassidy—multi-platinum singer, TV writer, producer, and all-around creative powerhouse. He blew up in high school with Warner Bros, dropping three platinum albums and chart-topping hits like Da Doo Ron Ron and That’s Rock ’n’ Roll. He toured arenas coast to coast—think Madison Square Garden, Houston Astrodome—and starred in The Hardy Boys Mysteries. But Cassidy didn’t stop there. He flipped the script, writing and producing acclaimed TV like American Gothic (with Sam Raimi), Roar (starring Heath Ledger), Cold Case, Invasion, and Emerald City. Most recently, he was an exec producer and writer on NBC/Netflix’s New Amsterdam. Broadway fans remember him in Blood Brothers, where he penned his first TV pilot. From 2020–2024, he hit the road with The Magic of a Midnight Sky, selling out shows nationwide. And during the pandemic, he launched My First Crush wines—donating proceeds to No Kid Hungry.
